When people are asked what matters most in life, the answers are surprisingly consistent.

In the United States:
- 42 percent said family life matters most
- 40 percent said health
- 26 percent selected making money
- 24 percent chose personal growth
- 21 percent said faith or spirituality
In the U.K., family life ranked first at 51 percent, followed by health at 44 percent. In Germany, health came first at 49 percent, with family life close behind at 43 percent. Germany also showed a stronger emphasis on safety and security at 30 percent.
